How to compare two tour proposals
Look beyond the headline price and compare the same set of services.
Compare the same group and dates
Check that both quotations use the same travel dates, number of paying guests and group leaders. Ask what changes if fewer people travel. A per-person figure and a whole-group total are different pricing bases; convert them only after checking the assumptions.
Read the itinerary alongside the inclusions
Compare accommodation and room arrangements, meals, transport, guiding, entrance fees and equipment. Check which items are excluded or optional. A place mentioned in an itinerary does not by itself confirm an included visit, ticket or activity.
Identify who confirms and delivers
Ask for the name of the responsible operator and a clear division of duties between the operator, agent and group organiser. Confirm the contact for programme changes before departure and during the trip. The proposed communication process should be part of the agreement.
Check price validity and change terms
Keep the currency, validity date, payment recipient and payment schedule beside each quote. Compare cancellation conditions and the process for changes or refunds. Where terms are unclear, ask for a written explanation before committing.
Keep one agreed version
Save the final programme and quote with a date or version number. List what still requires confirmation. A researched programme or preliminary catalogue is a useful starting point, but it is not proof of availability. TripKG is currently selecting partners; this guide does not offer a bookable departure.
